2025 St George Trip
Itinerary
Thursday 7/17/25 - We will play Wolf Creek in Mesquite and stay the night in town at the casino for some gambling. There will not be a caddie for this round.
Friday 7/18/25 - We will wake up and head to Black Desert to play 1 round. We will play 1 round during the day and look to do something on their 36 hole putting green that night. A 4 caddie will be included for this round.
Saturday 7/19/25- We will play Copper Rock in the morning and Sand Hallow in the afternoon. Sand Hallow will be a best ball format for each group of 4 from the red tees. The goal will be to break 50 as a team. There will be no caddies for either round Saturday. Groups don't need to play together and will be drawn at random.
Sunday 7/20/25- We will play Black Desert again in the morning before heading home. A 4 caddie will be included for this round.
Important Information
Total cost for the trip is $1,950. This includes all golf, lodging, yearly club dues for the trip and transportation. You will be on the hook for travel (flight or if you choose to drive separate from the charter bus), drinks and food.

We have a charter bus leaving Phoenix at 5 am on Thursday 7/17/25. For those traveling outside of Phoenix, you can fly into Phoenix or Vegas airports to catch a ride on the charter bus. If flying into Vegas, please arrive no later than 10 am on 7/17/25. We must arrive to Wolf Creek by 1130 am.
The charter bus will leave St. George by 1 pm on Sunday 7/20/25. The travel time from St. George to Vegas is 2 hours. Please plan on a late afternoon flight if you choose to fly out of Vegas. If you fly out of Phoenix, you'll want to book a flight for late that night or early Monday morning. Expected arrival time into Phoenix is roughly 10pm.
***The charter bus will be our transportation from the start to finish on the trip, it will take us to all the courses we are playing each day. You won't need to worry about a ride***
Black Desert will include normal hotel rooms with 2 queen beds, but if there are groups of 4 willing we can upgrade you to a 4 bedroom condo for $400 each person.
Black Desert includes a meal with each round (lunch or dinner). Our tee time will determine what meal is provided. Also, we will have 4 caddies for both rounds. Tip for that is up to you but typically $50 is good.
If you haven’t been on a trip but are receiving this information it’s because you’ve expressed interest. The yearly dues cover your official USGA handicap fee. The club pays for that for you! You will officially be set up on 1/1/25 officially with the USGA. If you currently pay for a USGA membership, please remember to not renew with the current group. It’s important to log your scores throughout the year into the GHIN app leading up to the trip. If you’re new to the club or the GHIN app, please save scores for the rest of the 2024. You'll be able to enter them when you're officially set up on 1/1/25.
